Bio

Edwin J. Berkowitz is currently Chairman of the Board at E.J. Berkowitz, L.P. and Building Chairman for the new Hillel at the University of Pennsylvania. He received a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and received a JD from Temple University. Berkowitz has a long history of community service including President Uptown Home for the Aged, President Golden Slipper Center for Seniors, President College Alumni-University of Pennsylvania, Trustee Glaziers Pension & Welfare Plan, and President American Israel Chamber of Commerce. His list of Board service includes Center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania, Allegheny Hospital Cardiovascular Institute, Flat Glass Marketing Association, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia where he served on several committees including Executive, Finance, Publication and Personnel.
